Sad News : Dr. Rogelio O. Juliano

It is with deep sadness that we report that Dr. Rogelio O. Juliano passed away on 1st February 2013. He was a former Dean of the College of Fisheries of University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) and also served as Chancellor of UPV.  Dr. Rogelio was among the Five Incorporators of Asian Fisheries Society, Manila Headquarters in 1986.  Even after his retirement from the university, he continued to be very active in the fisheries sector, engaging in research, training, advocacy, and consultancy work. He left us at the good age of 79 years.
