1st Postgraduate Symposium (PGSYM 2026)

The UPM Press Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia, is pleased to invite you to participate in the 1st Postgraduate Symposium (1STPGSYM2026), which will be held on 12–14 May 2026 in Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang, Malaysia.

The symposium is organised under the theme:
“Advancing Knowledge for a Sustainable, Digital, and Resilience Future”.

1STPGSYM2026 serves as an interdisciplinary platform for postgraduate students, researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge, research findings, and innovative practices related to science and technology, social sciences, and agricultural sciences.

We cordially invite the submission of abstracts in areas including, but not limited to, the following sub-themes:

Important Dates:

• Deadline for Abstract Submission: 27 February 2026 EXTENDED TO 8 March 2026
• Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 6 March 2026 16 March 2026
• Full Paper Submission: 10 April 2026
• Conference Dates: 12 - 14 May 2026

All accepted articles will be published as Scopus-indexed book chapters, in Scopus-indexed journals, or in 26 newly established journals published by the UPM Press Centre. The publication would also assist in the graduate requirements set by the School of Graduate Studies of UPM. Kindly be informed that the Article Processing Charge (APC) is the responsibility of the authors.
